I have stated that the VP is devastated and that a statement from him at this time is STOOOPID and ill advised.
He wants ALL the facts, much more than you, I, or the damn media.
to be honest (your post aside, I know you did not intend to impart such a relationship), I fully expect that the media will do that starting tomorrow - in other words, the longer Cheney is seen as "saying nothing", the media will run a story tieing his silence to his fear of "legal jeopardy".
watch for it. you know its coming.
