MSM: ABBCNNBCBS, NY Times, LA Times, Wash Post, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Austin paper, Houston Chronicle, etc.

Non-MSM? Most any alternative, freely reporting source: Washington Times, NY Post, talk radio, Internet, FreeRepublic, Lucianne, com, Boortz, WorldNetDaily, NewsMax, MediareserachCenter ( www.mrc.org ), etc.

What about AP? Reuters? Many of those nonMSM use them.

I just think it's not that simple.

What about AP? Reuters? Many of those nonMSM use them.

Those two sources are also extremist MSM.

What? You can't just "list" the MSM: Sure, everything can be a source, and sometimes, even the MSM gets the basic (first-reporting) information right. A conservative must USE the sources and basic information from those sources!

but the MSM never goes past that, or worse, merely follows the trail of the rest of the MSM - The MSM doesn't analyze and accurately report on what really happened - once the first focus groups and reports are done. (That's WHY they (the MSM) are so upset about the Cheney shooting incident: they weren't involved in the first story!)

Then, the MSM begins typically just endlessly repeating the democrat-liberal spin of what they WANT to have happened, THINK happened, or EXPECT to happen in the future.

Second trait of MSM is unadulterated liberalism and liberal spin, with facts, analysis or criticism of past liberal failures.

Third trait is hypocritical acceptance of anything from the democrat/liberal/socialist/internationalist point of view, and immediate hostility to anything/anyone from any opposing view.

MSM is more of an attitude and failure in reporting, NOT a list of

I love it. In states like Michigan people of all political stripes are trying to figure out why the national media is making such a big deal of his. They are becoming the joke.

Cheney should be locked up for not paying the $7 fee for the stamp - whatever it was for.

Yeah....paid $200 fot the license...(forgot the $7 stamp) and the hunting license wasn't even legal for shooting old Texas attorneys....just quail. I wonder if he bagged his limit?

(quail....not attorneys)

These leftist just love to deal in IFs. I wonder how many prosecutors the Old Gray Whore had to harrass before they got the answer they were looking for.

My point was, I guess, that if ANYONE dies from a "hunting accident" there should be some sort of "formal" investigation from the local or state governing body. I feel that it should take about 15 minutes and include interviews with everyone there. Hunting accidents happen all the time. They sometimes are not "accidents."

I am NOT suggesting for a second that this is not an accident. I am just saying that if it were me or you, there would be an investigation. Why not Dick?

No time to read the hundreds of posts, so apologies if this was answered before: Kleberg county is Kingsville where Mr. Whittington was hospitalized. Kenedy county is where the accident occurred.

If the man were to die, it would be in Kleberg county and looks like some local yokel is saying something about a grand jury investigation in that case.

If true, should be strictly routine.

But if somebody is going to go political on this to hurt the VP and President, I suppose anything could happen.

Wonder if we will see Martin Sheen chaining himself to the fence of the prison where Cheney will be put to death.

The MSM is secretly hoping that the guy croaks. It would give them the perfect and final reason to go after Cheney tooth and nail. They have been after this administration since Bush beat AlGore and haven't let up. And the press conference a few days ago looked like feeding time on the plains of the Serengetti. It's just sickening. The only difference between Cheney and Joe Duck Hunter is that Cheney is the VP. Had he not been, this would never have gotten the attention now being paid to it.

"...If he dies in 2022, it will still be Cheney's fault.
Just watch.,,,"

The guy would be 94 years old by then.

I said that yesterday.... Mr. Whittington will die eventually, and Cheney will always be blamed for killing a 78 year old man... even if he lives to the ripe ole age of 103.

I thought they were on private property. Does he still need a stamp?

Thank you!

Hopefully, Whittington himself will issue a statement. This hasn't been reported as fact, but I guarantee you Whittington wandered into Cheney's hunting "space". Regardless, it was an accident and statements from Whittington & Cheney will shut the vultures down. I just hope when Dick Cheney steps up to the microphone and speaks about it, every prick reporter will FEEL as small as they are.

Enough already!!!

I doubt it will shut the vultures up if Mr. Whittington gives a statement

Not until the public makes it known that we sick of them beating this dead horse. When their obsessioin becomes the story, they'll drop it.
