Why do we continue to classify students according to some age group? It's got the be the dopiest way of doing things. Each child is an INDIVIDUAL and thus has different learning needs.
For instance, if that "freshman" can't read a book, they've got bigger problems than just being held back a year.
I was floored watching a news story today calling kids "Tweens". Isn't that just cute? (barf)
