I tuned in to Letterman last night just to see what he'd say about the incident. Naturally, during the monologue there was the joking, but after he sat down, did anyone hear him say that Cheney and the others were drinking (alcohol) at the time? Well we here on FR know that's not true, but tell me that some liberals won't take that as fact. UGH!!

How does ANYBODY, whether he's from FR or anywhere else, "know" that? Unless he was there?
I really do think a lot of people, on all sides, are jumping the gun (no pun intended) before we have the information to know the whole story.
