Sounds to me that Larry, an intellectual lightweight, is suffering from Ivy Envy.
He runs everything he touches into the ground. Look at West Wing, liberal but somewhat interesting until they made the changes that put O'Donnell in charge and he ran it into the ground. The last straw was the hiring of Janine Gerapalo (sp).
