Exactly! Our Church's sick and sympathy committee cannot find out about a parishioner in the hospital, unless called by a close relative.
Our Pastor said we have to either have it written down on our person or have someone call him, because he is not allowed to ask. Used to be the Priest's would just go in a get a list of Catholics and make the rounds.
