FWIW, birdshot is really, really small. Tiny. So it can be in all kinds of places and stay there forever.
This is not fishy. Frankly, it is not of our business. IF it had been the VP that had been injured, we would be in a different situation. But the VP accidentally injuring a fellow hunter is not. It is the kind of thing that would be in the paper, but not as the banner headline.
Frankly, the fishy part is how the press is making it into something it is not.
