IIRC, he was furious when he found out that he had alot of money left over. They could have spent it in a final push at the end but instead sat on something like 5 million dollars. Plus, he's still an idiot.

Make that $15 Million. That money then became Kerry's to do with as he pleased. He didn't spend it because (A) he wanted to keep it; and (B) his people told him he had it done, he was the winner.

The Kerry experts' game plan, based on fraud in Michigan, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Missouri, and California came damn close to succeeding. Mighty suspicious in other states like New Mexico, too. In a close election in a state with large 'urban areas' the democrats can get it done.
