To: 2nsdammit
Speaking of buckshot vs. birdshot, I just saw a CNN reporter show, as a prop, a 12 guage shell with 00 buck. He poured the shot out in his hand, and said "this is kind of like the shot he was 'peppered' with".... I believe the Veep had a 28 guage, with bird shot.

I understand it was #8 from a 28 ga. I've never had any need for anything more than 7-1/2 in my 12's (which is all I own) for shooting pheasant and clays. I want to move onto a 20 since the recoil factor is getting to me as I get older.

I've found that now that I use "Move Mount Shoot"
I get more "birds" now with my 20Ga. than I did with my 12Ga.
I reload only Remington STS with 7 1/2.
I do reload some with 9 shot for "rabbits".
