Of Mouse and Women (Karenna Gore Washington Post BARF Alert)
Washington Post ^ | February 11, 2005 | Bob Thompson

NEW YORK Let's begin with a brief case study in how the cynical, superficial American media (that's us) can distort the lives of political figures and their families.

We are talking with Karenna Gore Schiff about her new book, "Lighting the Way: Nine Women Who Changed Modern America." The smart, personable 32-year-old daughter of the Man Who Was Almost President tells us she wrote it as a kind of therapy, an antidote to the "punched-in-the-gut" feeling she got whenever she looked at the newspaper after the 2000 election.

Bob Thompson had his lips implanted firmly on the inside of Karenna Gore's butt when he wrote this article. He even called Karenna's father, "mainstream."

Sweetie, if that's the worst thing that ever happens to you in this life, you should count yourself blessed.

Heck, you should count yourself blessed anyway.

Get a life.

You can tell that Karenna Gore is MISERABLE that she is not the social QUEEN BEE of DC due to the fact that Dada lost in 2000 and continues to make a fool of himself.

This bitch complains about the "unrecognizable caricatures" the media created of her father.

Right at this moment in history, her asshole father is running around in other countries telling them fanciful lies about how America is randomly rounding up muslims and shipping them off to be tortured.

She should be thankful the media created the caricature of a bumbling stiff jackass for her father. It distracts from the true image of him as a vile traitor to his nation, stirring up forces that will further inspire fanatics to slaughter his fellow citizens.

She was on Russert's low-rated CNBC talker and she is every bit as dull-witted & robotic as her father.

"...tells us she wrote it as a kind of therapy, an antidote to the "punched-in-the-gut" feeling she got whenever she looked at the newspaper after the 2000 election"

I'm a fairly politically oriented guy but I didn't get a "punched-in-the-gut" feeling after the '92 or '96 elections and wouldn't have felt it if former VP Gore had won either.  I may think my fellow citizens have gone crazy if they elect Senator Clinton in '08, but I'm not going to cry, stomp my feet, get a gut-punched feeling or lose any sleep over it.

One of the most politically oriented people on the planet is James Carville and I'd darn near bet good money that he went to sleep Nov 2, 2004 and got some nookie from his wife Mary Matlin.  He's mentally stable enough to handle a loss and so am I.

The author of this article is obviously not stable and the publishers of books should take notice of the quality of the people they publish.

Gotta ask it. If the media had "unrecognizable caraicatures" of Algore, how did she (or anyone else) know it was a reference to old Al "Lost in the Woods" Gore???

Karenna G.'s a pretty gal.
I'll assume though that Phyllis Schlafly and Jeanne Kirkpatrick missed the Top Nine cut.

If Karenna Gore wants to be taken seriously as a woman, she really should not lower herself to talking about ridiculous lessons to be learned by watching Mighty Mouse.

The author harps on this in a condescending way and finishes up the article with it. I suspect this is the opposite of how Karenna wants to be depicted.

I can understand the depression at her fathers loss. Her mother has to stay juiced up to live with the creature ,it isnt surprising the daughter is a little punchy.

This sounds like an accurate portrayal of a Trust-fund Liberal.

Public navel gazing.
