She's not spontaneous, she hates herself and she's humorless. Oh yeah, and she's not flexible. These are shortcomings that she can only hope to deal with the same way that she did in Arkansas. Fortunately for us, the world has moved forward and won't think of her as a poor woman being shouted at while she behaves abominably.
I always have tried to avoid hearing her speak but the other day I forced myself to listen. She really is hard on the ears. I can't even imagine her in a forum where she has to interact with an audience that might disagree with her.
Hillary doesn't have a prayer in 2008.
The liberals have one of two choices in the next presidential election:
1) Nominate a governor who is liberal, but can pass himself off as a "centrist" until he gets elected, right out of the Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter playbook, or
2) Hope that the Republicans nominate a squishy "moderate", like McCain, Guiliani, or Rice, who can get elected and then destroy the party base, like Gerald Ford. This way, the Democrats can retake Congress in 2010, and start inventing new ways to tax us into prosperity.
Some in the mainstream media have already figured this out. Even Maureen Dowd has taken off her blinders.
