I think we need a sub-thread to deal with Olympic fashions.

I want to know why the snowboarders get to dress so cool (hey, baggie pants with no underwear showing! somebody's mom must have talked to them) and the ski jumpers look so dorky? The jumpers look like they're flying in foam suits, as if to soften the blow when they fall. Ick!

The suits the ski jumpers wear are designed to provide maximum aero-dynamics through the air as they try to fly as far as they can.

The snowboarders wear the baggy pants so they have a place to keep their pot.

Hey I was thinking the same thing! Why does everyone else wear skin-tight "superhero" body suits and the snowboarders tog out in ghetto dudz? Is this just a gimmick to lure the "X-Trem" fans?
