Video on MSNBC.
Two-story house destroyed.
Fire being extinguished.
Status of home's occupants unknown.
Video of smoking house being shown live on MSNBC, not video of the crash.
Damn. that house was totally blown apart..msnbc,, family in house was able to get out, and is OK.. 1 fatality reported, the pilot.
Which Roseville? Near Sacramento or near San Diego?
I heard them say that the occupants of the neighboring house escaped, but that they didn't know about the people in the burning house.
Very sad. That house is completely wasted. I didn't see a plane on that video, just a huge hole that used to be about 3/4 of the house.
Near Sacramento.
Dasher accounted for.
If anyone saw the airplane or hears what type of plane it is - PLEASE let me know.
I'm in a class and don't have TV access.
ROSEVILLE -- A single-engine plane slammed into a home today, killing two people aboard and sparking a fire that gutted the house.
Two people believed to be in the house were missing, authorities said.
The crash at 11:24 a.m. set fire to the home and two homes on either side of it, said Bruce Nelson, an operations officer for the Federal Aviation Administration in Los Angeles.
"The main house has substantial damage but the other two, their damage isn't going to be as much," Nelson said.
The names of the two people on board the plane have not been released. The pilot was not communicating with air traffic controllers at the time of the crash, Nelson said.
Roseville is about 16 miles northeast of Sacramento.
Two people in my class are from Sac.
I haven't said anything yet - I'd like to know who or what before I raise the flag.

The plane went down around 11:30 am Sunday, crashing into a home on Longfellow Drive after attempting to land on Woodcreek Golf Course, that's near Woodcreek Oaks and Pleasant Grove Boulevard. Witnesses say the plane appeared to have trouble gaining altitude.

Plane Crashes Into Calif. Home; Two Dead

ROSEVILLE, Calif. - A single-engine plane crashed into a suburban home Sunday, killing both people aboard and sparking a fire that gutted the house, authorities said.
Two people believed to be in the house were missing.
"There was a huge boom and instant fire," said Peter Hugenroth, who lives nearby. "By the time I got to the crash there was no sign of the plane. Everything was engulfed in flames."
The names of the people on board the plane have not been released. The pilot wasn't communicating with air traffic controllers at the time of the crash, said Roseville Police spokeswoman Dee Dee Gunther.
"The pilot appeared to be coming down low for some kind of maneuver that brought him to within 500 feet of the rooftops," Gunther said. "And then he appeared to lose control and crashed into one of the houses."
The crash also set fire to two neighboring homes, said Bruce Nelson, an operations officer for the Federal Aviation Administration in Los Angeles.
"The main house has substantial damage but the other two, their damage isn't going to be as much," he said.
Roseville is about 16 miles northeast of Sacramento.

They are saying Aerobatic Stunt Plane.
I've called everyone I can think of who flies stunts in Sac. - Ugh.
ROSEVILLE, Calif. A single-engine plane that appeared to be performing an aerobatic stunt crashed into a home in Northern California today, killing at least one person aboard.
The Federal Aviation Administration reported two deaths, but fire and police at the scene said only the pilot was pronounced dead.
The F-A-A also said two people were missing, but local authorities reported the house was unoccupied.
The crash, which occurred shortly before 11:30 a-m, set fire to the house and two homes on either side of it.
The F-A-A says the pilot was not communicating with air traffic controllers at the time of the crash.
Police spokeswoman Dee Dee Gunther says the pilot came as low as 500 feet of the rooftops before appearing to lose control and crashing into one of the houses.
A witness, who lives about a half mile from the crash, says he saw the plane attempting to make a figure eight.
Roseville is about 95 miles northeast of San Francisco.

A Glasair plane crashed into a house at 1302 Longfellow Circle at about 12:10 p.m., according to FAA operations officer Bruce Nelson.
Two people onboard the plane and two people inside the house are dead, Nelson said. The house caught on fire, possibly damaging homes on either side, he said.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined. The plane's place of departure and destination are also unclear.
Nelson described the aircraft as an "experimental, home-built plane."
Glasair Aviation sells pre-molded composite "kitplanes," according to the company's Web site.
