It seems that almost wherever he goes and whatever positions he pushes, Jimmy Carter leaves a wake of devastation and disaster.
What is amazing is that he's one of the most failed presidents of all time. If he couldn't do anything positive as president, then WTH makes him or anyone else think he can as an ex-president with even less power. It's unbelieveable.
Not to mention, the man is a simpleton. He has no wisdom or common sense. His sole "star" on his resume was his "Middle East Peace" thing, and we all see where that's gone since then, and oh so predicatably.
Remember Carter's human rights program, where he demanded the Shah of Iran step down and turn over power to the Ayatollah Khomeini?
No matter that Khomeini was a madman. Carter had the U.S. Pentagon tell the Shah's top military commanders about 150 of them to acquiesce to the Ayatollah and not fight him.
The Shah's military listened to Carter. All of them were murdered in one of the Ayatollah's first acts.
Talk about the "enemy from within!" Dang!
I also had no idea that he got funding from the Arabs. Shouldn't that alone be basis for some sort of investigation.

You would think he would be in prison for accepting bribes. I am at a loss as to why we treat our ex leaders like monarchs. It was George Washington who said he did not want to be a King. He wanted to be a citizen leader with the same accountability as the rest of us.
Carter is a blind man with a machine gun.
