I'm very concerned about the state of American education, and I place the blame directly on politicians and the NEA.

Your homeschooling comment is interesting.
My children are 3 and 1 1/2 years old and I will homeschool or private school.

How are your homeschooling experiences?
It seems like a great commitment in time and energy that might return great results.

Homeschooling -- pays rich dividends. It was a wonderful experience. And quite inexpensive. Wove our family very close. Do it, by all means, if you are considering it. We never regretted it. (Not that you asked me...hahah).
