Even after Libby's defense team shot down reports made by a left wing advocacy group, and reported as truth by the MSM, that Libby's attorney's confirmed in a letter to Fitzgerald's office that Libby was given the go ahead by superiors to 'leak' the information on Valarie Plame, ABC radio news continued to report the story as true.

Why would Libby use this as a defense anyways? This isn't what he's charged with. Why say "Cheney told me to leak the name" when he's charged with giving a false statement and perjury?
