I think it is time to stop looking at Islam and the Islamists through western, liberal, democratic eyes. They are a neofascist movement and that is that. They are our enemy and that of everything we believe in. Just as during WWII, we must prepare to destroy them. Period.
That's pretty much the way I've always looked at it. But shouldn't we stop to contemplate our reaction to this particular situation, if for no other reason than to expect this is part of the imams strategy and we might be playing into their hands?
