WRONG. WRONG. WRONG. We're talking intercepting international phone calls...not tapping phones of U.S. citizens. Constitution has never been held to prohibit interception of international communications. Been done (letters, telegraphs, etc.) since the days of President Washington.

No, they are not "tapping" phones here in America. That is not how the process of monitoring calls from outside the United States works. I will not go into specifics....but there is no "wire tape" on ANY phone here in the America during such operations as the NSA was conducting.

Nope. You're out of date. It's electronic surveillence of specific cell phone numbers found on terrorists cell phones and laptops. And it listens for keywords. If they are present, the phone conversation is automatically saved. When this story broke in the NY Times, Bin Ladens SAT phone went silent.
