Read post #2 carefully.

The implication is that "if" McCain gets through the GOP primaries, that there will be no one or no thing that can stop him from becomming President. The poster is correct.

The poster is incorrect.

Democrats will vote Democrat.

Republicans will vote Republican.

That leaves conservatives and "independents" undecided.

I wager conservatives abandon McCain has they did 41 in '92.

That leaves Independents.

Does McCain have what it takes to win Independents on his own?

He won't have conservatives walking those precincts, and conservatives by far are the most active in getting out the vote. Infact he'll have a number of conservatives like myself working against him.

He won't have the media, the media will officially abandon him.

They'll destroy him and ride the D to victory because without the opposition of conservatives, the MSM message wins.

If this base is suicidal, they elect McCain. A man that wants to destroy the conservative movement, seeks world opinion above our safety, wishes to control every aspect of American life from free speech to baseball, and a man with enough skeletons for the MSM to never run out of material. Not to mention the short fuse that will make Howie's scream seem tame when they push the right button at the right time.

Ah, thank you. I don't know if I agree with that or not. Possibly it is true, but we'll have to see whether a lot of conservatives would stay home.

In that case I am praying he has a massive heart attack before the primaries. The man is a traitor IMO.
