Its still the OLYMPICS, we are just older and more jaded since 88 and 92.
ENJOY all the athletes...all of them...lots of time and training and precision.
None of us can really even compare.

Really. How annoying is this? They should not have billed this as the opening ceremonies when they had no intention of actually showing the start until 8 (or 9 depending on where you are).

My sister and I swear the United commercials are penned by the same animator who did Raymond Briggs' "The Snowman".
If you haven't seen it, rent it. A beautiful little Christmas story with absolutely delightful music.

I always think back to Franz Klammer back in the 76 downhill. That is still one of the most electric Olympic moments ever, how he didn't wipe out is still beyond me.
