This is the website of the Office of Independent Counsel in the investigation and prosecutions involving matters relating to former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Henry G. Cisneros.
In the latter half of 1994, accusations surfaced that then Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Henry G. Cisneros had made false statements to the Federal Bureau of Investigation ("FBI") in late 1992 and early 1993, when the agency was conducting a routine background investigation for his appointment and confirmation. The false statements concerned monetary payments he had made to Linda Medlar,1 with whom he had had an extramarital affair in the late 1980s. Cisneros allegedly had seriously misstated the amount and frequency of the payments he had made to her.
[snip] On January 19, 2006, the Special Division authorized the public release of this office's (Final Report), with some redactions. On the same day, the Independent Counsel released a Press Release concerning the release.

There is one person this report could really harm and until proven otherwise, we must assume that it most likely is Mrs. Clinton and her spouse.
Put pressure on your senators....everyday, call and email them...until they release this information....
We all know what we can do on here, when we all get together and put the pressure on....lets get going....
Exactly .. because it was Mrs. Clinton's lawyers who were holding up this report for all these years - all over the issue of redacting all those pages.
You can't look much more guilty than that!
I've done just that and will keep on doing it. Repost this tomorrow and I will the day after - keep it on FR for as long as we can. Thanks
bttt
I believe that any Congress member can read the docs, but no one can "disclose" them to the public. But if a Congressman/woman would read them and then tell the public what he or she had read, that would probably go unpunished by the court which issued the order (e.g. court will not go after a member of Congress).
I don't think Mrs. Clinton would listen to me....
Why is MSM not demanding the release of the redacted material? Hillary Clinton?
Problem is that the redacted pages are also critical of the IRS, and many citizens are reluctant to go after the IRS because of blowback.
so....replace her....you can vote can't you?
excuses....replace her in this election, you have a Republican running, vote for him, get her out of there...
Besides, she doesn't belong in New York anyway....she is from Arkansas...make her go there...they should love her there...
my county has voted Republican since BEFORE i was born... NYC/Albany/Buffalo elected her. NYC is the tail wagging the dog here.
I DON'T RECALL
My sympathies.......
Bravo!! Well said!!
Let's ALL start e mailing, and phoning to get these pages released!!
bump
I am presuming that release of the redacted pages is going to be timed appropriately so that it is not "old news" when 2008 rolls around. The political strategy behind such timing is likely being directed from the top. If there is one thing that I have learned about Rove and the Bush Administration, it is that they are excruciatingly patient, and a lot more patient than I am. That's a good thing.
A pile of (expletive delected) if you ask me! The public has a right to (REDACTED).
JEEZ !
"Besides, she doesn't belong in New York anyway....she is from Arkansas...make her go there...they should love her there..."
Actually, she's from Evanston, IL and FYI, the people in Arkansas don't like her either.
