If you mean Newton's Law of Gravity, not only is it still a theory, it's been shown to be incomplete. Relativity has superseded it. So much for it being a *law*.

Ok, then.

If neither law or theory is safe from dispute or being proved wrong, why all the fuss about defending evolution? If it can't be proved as an absolute fact, then why defend it as if it was undisputable?
