When the execrable Don Imus was interviewing the reprehensible Chris Dodd (Sen., Dem, CT) this morning he did get off a good line. He asked the senator whether what the democrats want to do with the Patriot Act is really turn parts of it into a Terrorist Bill of Rights?

Wasn't Dodd on FNS last summer ahead of the Roberts hearings in which he was quoted saying he wanted to find out what the nominee thought about the "Privacy Clause" in the Constitution?

I guess he's just being consistent; we have these made-up constitutional rights, and any real law that comes along might interfere with his weird interpretations of it.

Privacy is the concern of at least the fifth amendment and the fourth amendment thus is far from a non-constitutional concern.
