Since the 1980's, the Federal government gave LA over $ 20 Billion dollars to work on levees and flood control. Evidently this "hearing" isn't going to concentrate on anything that happened before August 29.

And you know as well as I do, any money allocated to NOLA won't go toward strengthening the levees. I'd like to think I'm wrong, but that town is run by a bunch of crooks.
