Kids should not be influenced to engage in any sex whatsoever in schools. The idea that "they're going to do it anyway so hand them some condoms" is tantamount to telling them that "you're just animals who can't control your sex organs so go for it".
What to speak of telling them that they should experiment with "gay" sex, which is what GLSEN does.
BTW, Amelia (I'm just getting back to this thread, I don't have too much time lately for FR) you never got back to my question - what do YOU think about GLSEN in schools? Is it a good thing? Bad thing? Do you think it should be allowed in public schools?
This country seems to be heading in the same direction as Sweden.

Emphasis bump. This point can't be pounded enough.
Fifteen-year-olds are not ready. Sex is an adult activity, and fifteen-year-olds are not yet ready to stand up to life and its demands and burdens as adults. It's hard enough as it is for adults of 21 and 22, who don't yet know enough about office politics, the finer points of tax deductibility, and dealing with contractors.
Nature's agenda is to get every girl pregnant as soon as she's physically able. Nature's agenda doesn't include her survival, much less her happiness. Same for the boys. Their survival and happiness are people business, not Nature's business, and we need to see about it. Early sex isn't part of the picture, when we're talking about preparing young pre-adults for life on their own.
We shouldn't let homosexual sex-recruiters -- and that's about what GLSEN are -- interfere with the educational agenda of all the people, of getting adolescents ready for life.
