Somehow I think that one voluntary meeting at school where they pass out literature is not something that is going to cause a secure, heterosexual young man to get brainwashed into a life of homosexuality. Are all heterosexual young men secure in their sexuality?
Is it at all hard to believe that some young men whose sexuality is late to develop, and who are thus insecure, might be led into homosexual experimentation which would interfere with what would have been normal albeit delayed sexual development?
Seems to me that (1) such things almost certainly happen to a significant degree, and (2) it's not by accident, but by design.
If two grown men want to engage in sodomy with each other, I don't care. But the homosexual community is explicitly targeting kids, and I find that abhorrent.
I agree with everything you said, but the parents in the story seem to think something different.
["He [said he] was thinking now that he perhaps was gay -- and of course I was floored by this [pronouncement] and was, like, 'where did this come from?' This kind of came out of left field," the dad says. After questioning his son for an extended period, Burrows says he discovered the source. "I found out that this was as a result of this seminar."]
I was just refuting the notion that the simple exposure to a distasteful idea is going to turn someone to the dark side ala Annakin Skywalker.
