So, in other words you're completely unable to make the case that his constituents were betrayed, like you claimed they were at #326. Here's a hint: It's because they weren't.

Here's another hint, he said he would stop being a congressman after 3 terms. They re-elected him, it's on them. But he completely broke that promise. You have to admit that.

What's this "it" that's on them? I promise you that I won't ask to borrow your car again. I ask to borrow your car again, and you agree. What's "on" you at that point? By lending it to me, you've effectively absolved me from the promise.

Had he kept his word, he could have still been reelected by a write-in campaign THAT would have been wholly honorable.
