To: Flavius Josephus

""God said it, I believe it, that settles it." And he DID say it. "If you do not eat my body and drink my blood, you shall have no life in you." John 6:53"

Then he said "The flesh profiteth nothing; it is the spirit that giveth life"

Scripture quoted out of context has defended many a cult.

That whole section of John 6 is about him saying you have to eat his flesh and drink his blood. The people say "What can he mean? Surely he doesn't mean literally eat him!" And He says "Verily, Verily I say unto you..." what I quoted. Funny how so many that believe in the bible literally don't believe in John 6. Later we find that the Eucharist is how we do it.
