This is weird. If there is a mic around one of those Senators will find it, never fear! :)
I wonder if you and I are the only ones watching this on FR...I keep checking for a breaking news thread..
Perhaps I should have started one...but, I didn't and I keep expecting someone to do it...shame on ME.
I wonder where Teddy is? Drudge does not even have it.
Oh no Sessions is there!
In a tuxedo yet! :)
Ed Henry on CNN just came on....he was the one that originally reported it...
He said that Jeff Sessions was headed to a dinner that Henry is going to...BUT, they have been told it could take AT LEAST another hour, until they will know what the third test will be...
He mentioned 2 tubes of material to be tested...
Well I do hope it's a false alarm. No one appears to be ill. That's good.
I just pinged you to a new live thread of this
Thank You!
Oh lord. I just got off of the phone with a phone interviewer. Ditzy little girl from Idaho about environmental "issues." Waste of time, but maybe not. She learned that 20% of US energy is made by Nukes that do not create acid rain or greenhouse gases. That confused her. (You could hear the logic short-circuiting her neurons.) And she learned that the first water canservationists were farmers that plowed terraces on their land, and that environmentalists that move to Texas from California build driveways through these venerable steppes and ruin the water conservation properties. She had never thought of farmers as environmentalists.
And now I've only GOT to get back to work!
Yes, Phuket is fully recovered. Kho Lat, a little further north has some building to do. Phuket is very flat only about a mile in where it then rises into some hills and some beautiful mountains. Most of the infrastructure was built up-land, so when the hotels and tourist places were ruined it wasn't total devastation the way it was in Sri Lanka or Banda Aceh where it was flat for miles in and the water had no place to go. On Phuket the water rose three times, did its thing and went out. Not pretty, but reasonably easy to bring back online.
Good to hear....
