Seems to me that he abrogated his rights as a citizen by going to fight against the US. I hope he rots.

Clever of him to have married an American woman. Are his wife and six children still living in this country?

They're here, they're everywhere, they hate us, they want us dead, they're plotting to kill us right now.

They are at war with us right now, right here and for the future. It's for real.

If only we could get the very Dims and "liberals" to look, listen and hear.

If he is a US Citizen then he needs to be brought back to the States and put on Trial for Treason. Executed if found guilty, and his sorry carcass buried in pig fat.

"...a months-long investigation by NBC News."

"Shawqi Omar was a student at Utah State University in the late 1970's. It's not known how long he was there or what he studied." Not a very thorough "investigation", IMO. Typical OTM (Old Tired Media) crappola.

What US District Court judge stopped handing this scum to Iraq. It's time we weed out these judges. They just don't get it. Brain dead scum. What else could you call this judge when he prefers the side of a terrorist from our safety. We need the Senate to pass an immediate law stating that any citizen that performs with the terrorist immediately looses all US citizenship. The military should show this judge that he is scum and turn this prisoner over to Iraq. This is a killing war and if this judge doesn't know enough to shut his mouth, maybe a recall if possible is in order.

The universities have been pipelines for these guys for years both for the revenue and for the PC value, IMHO. I remember that as a freshman at UofM in the late seventies, I had a Saudi roommate for a short while until the nerd genes wore off of me. He said he was a farmer in between prayer meetings in the room. Farmer, right.

You are correct...

There are seven basic ways in which US citizenship can be lost:

Being naturalized in a foreign country, upon the person’s own application made after reaching 18 years of age;

Making an oath or other declaration of allegiance to a foreign country or division thereof, again, after reaching 18 years of age;

Serving in the armed forces of a foreign country if those armed forces are engaged in hostilities against the US, or if the person serves as an officer;

Working for the government of a foreign country if the person also obtains nationality in that country, or if to work in such a position an oath or other declaration of allegiance is required;

Making a formal renunciation of US citizenship before a US consular officer or diplomat in a foreign country;

Making a formal written statement of renunciation during a state of war, if the Attorney General approves the renunciation as not contrary to US national defense; and

Committing an act of treason against the US, or attempting by force or the use of arms to overthrow the government of the US. Renunciation by this means can be accomplished only after a court has found the person guilty.

The ABCs of Immigration

Although, as the website states, it is hard to prove and could be argued on semantics. I say bring him to the US and prosecute his sorry carcass, although lethal injection is way too mild for my taste. Maybe he'll have a fatal accident on his way back or suddenly come down ill, lead poisoning would be nice : )

Hell, if he's an american citizen, he's got a right to a firing squad. He's guilty of treason.

Oh, hey, lookie there - it's a muSlum who would otherwise be labeled as a moderate, law-abiding American muSlum whose religion has been hi-jacked by extremists. 'Cept he's one of the terrorists. If anyone wants to learn a lesson from this, it's clear as day.
