I dunno.Might have been more merciful to just put a pillow over her head.I watched my grandfather die of emphysema. He had quit smoking 15 years previously but, too little, too late.
It was painful and horrible, but he died in at home in his own bed with his wife, son, daughter and grandchildren with him in his final days and hours.
