Danish Editor Says He'll Print Holocaust Cartoons
NEW YORK (AP) -- An Iranian newspaper says it plans to publish cartoons about the Nazi Holocaust -- and a Danish editor says he'll reprint them if he can.
Flemming Rose was behind the publication of caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad that have ignited deadly rioting in the Muslim world.
Rose tells CNN he's trying to coordinate with the Iranian newspaper that's soliciting cartoons about the Holocaust.
The Iranian paper -- "Hamshahri" -- says it will hold the competition to test whether the West extends the principle of freedom of expression to the Nazi genocide as it did to the caricatures of Muhammad.
Those cartoons were first published by the Danish newspaper -- "Jyllands-Posten"

The Danish embassy in Tel Aviv will have nothing to fear.
I suggest the world will continue to awaken to the state of depravity that exists in the islamic world.
Awww yes, all in the name of free expression, eh?
But only if they're funny.
I think it's a great idea to publish whatever rubbish they produce. Not because the Danish newspaper owes them anything or ought to be at Tehran's command. Just because it is a good thing to illuminate exactly what it is that they believe and stand for.
This is a no-win for Tehran to fight this battle on the pages of European newspapers.
Exactly. The contrast should prove instructive to the world.
There will be no comparison between the Muhammad vs Jewish cartoons, which will further demonstrate how evil the Muslims fanatics are, especially since the Israeli's had no part in their publication in the first place.
Camel brains at work!!!!
This is exactly the right thing to do. Publicize Islamist biggotry to the world.
Brilliant move that will only illuminate the huge gap that exists between the two sides and will call to question if it can ever be closed.
Maybe Hollywood can make a movie about these Holocaust denial cartoons. Throw in a deviant sex angle, some young stars, and you've got next year's Academy Award winner.
This guy better be careful or he'll end up like Salman Rushdie. BTW, whatever happened to him? Is he still alive; in hiding? Whassup with him these days? Someone help me out here.
A Nazi Holocaust cartoon won't have the same effect. Jews weren't killing Nazis. The Muhammad cartoons have some truth in them, this is why they work.
i think its a good idea. way deflate the whole ridiculus global hissyfit
It sounds like the editor is playing the Iranians like a drum. The civilized world will demand where is the outrage and the camel humps will have to put up or shut up.
No, this is great, it lets those who have not seen the vileness of the islamic cartoons we see on the internet out in the general public.
The more the world knows of the islamic mindset the more they will know exactly who we are dealing with and what a threat they are.
The really funny thing is that these islamic idiots think this will get their views spread and have no clue what opening the eyes of Europeans about islam(since the MSM has been so careful to keep hidden what islam is about) will do to them.
