"In 1945, the anti-Nazi German pastor Martin Niemoller wrote the following:
"First they came for the Communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up, because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time there was no one left to speak up for me."
Where do you fit in the above list? Ayaan Hirsi Ali is someone you need to read about, but I fear you are too afraid to read about real courage and Islam from a woman's point of view.

Another good article today by Dennis Prager. He started out his essay with the above quote. My, I hadn't thought about that quote since high school. May I add the phrase, "If not now when?"

I don`t think that this flap over cartoons quite meets the level that Niemoller was talking about.
There is a difference between a free press and common sense.
Know you will duck this, but I`ll try anyway. What do think about the NYT`s publishing a story about the wire taps? Under some peoples opinion, they have the right to do that. Think it was a responsible thing to do?
