Thanks , reverend...

but you mistake mockery, ridicule, and disdain for hate. No one cares enough about Carter to hate him.

He is less than irrelevant.

"I see as much hate on this thread if not more than anything Carter said."

True, however "we" have had a few decades to let our hatred mature (for what he did to this country). This event just rubbed salt into the old wounds.

I lived through this mans rule. We almost lost it all. Ronaldo Maximus gave America back its dream, it's intestinal fortitude, and its World Leadership position.

Carter (on the other hand) gave us the 20th century's worst Presidency, only second behind lbj and then clinton.

You call what you read on this board hate? I call it expressing our opinions. At least most of these Freepers know better than to take their politics to a funeral and spew their hatred at a time like that. Carter's hate towards our President is disgusting. He needs to go to the altar this Sunday and repent for what he did!

Carter was out of the WHite House less than a year when he started petty little girlyman attacks on Reagan .. this isn't senility, it's pettiness .. Carter is a small person.

Carter knows he will never have an audience that size again (it was carried on tv) and he just couldn't resist.

It apparently never occurred to him that most of the country would be horrified by his actions and reminded yet again of why he was only a one term president.

"Does this remind anyone of Wellstone's "funeral"?"

Yep.. Sean Hannity is playing back the clips from the Wellstone funeral tonight on Fox

Before his horrible performance at the King funeral Tony Snow had already pronounced Jimmah Cahteh the worst president in American history. JC cinched it with his hateful speech in supposed honor of C. S. King. Carter is a bitter and hateful weasel. His Nobel should be sold at a flea market or garage sale. He could get a few buck for it. He certainly hasn't honored it with his awful post-presidential (he's 35 year post his abysmal presidency right now) performance.

If Bush wanted to return the lack of class shown by Carter he could have said:

"Those wiretaps of the Reverend and Mrs. King were conducted by the brothers of the fat Senator from Massachusetts. And Iran's nuclear program is a gift from the little guy from Georgia."

Try studying the Word, Rev, and get a bit of discernment and backbone for that self-righteous piety.

Respectfully, I must disagree with you. The only good thing about the Carter Presidency is that it is over.

God rest the Gipper's soul. It is days like today that remind me how much we truly lost when he left us.

Well if Ford defeats Carter in 76, it's doubtful Reagan becomes President in 1980. At least by losing then, the GOP ditched the Rockefeller Republicans in favor of the Reagan Revolution.

Carter is a bitter old man. He knows his Presidency will go down in history as a failure.""

WILL??? Already has!!!

His sone- who hardly anyone knew he even had showed up in Reno yesterday and with his dad, tried to ply the local movers and shakers for a run at a state senator position here in Nevada.

Local power brokers interviewed today on NBC channel weren't impressed...... They openly called Carter's presidency lame.

In reading about Carter's comment about wiretaps, I immediately thought of MLK's FBI recordings wherein he was fooling around on Mrs. King. To bring this up at her funeral is unbelievable low class and hurtful to the family.""

If I understand this correctly, didn't those "wiretaps" get done under a Demorat administration?????

Jimmah wouldn't have the brass ones to try and find a terrorist if it was inside his bathroom....

"...focused his speech on attacking the President of the United States. Why? Because he could so he did. "

IOW, because he's a Democrat.
