Maybe the coming Ice Age will cause global warming.

[It is ironic that one consequence of global warming is that Europe might plunge into a deep freeze.]
It is not ironic. It is IDIOTIC.

I love it...just in case the weather turns cold, it's still "global warming."
God, I hate liberal people.

"It is ironic that one consequence of global warming is that Europe might plunge into a deep freeze." "Ironic" isn't the word.

What it shows is that these pseudo scientists who work for academia can do studies that prove anything, and they are quite willing to do that in order to support their political biases.

How about a study to see if the axis is now moving to a more horizontal spin with the south pole facing the sun, that means everything along the equator and the dark North Pole will be totally covered in ... Antarctica will be the only warm spot in the entire world. Buy your realstate now.

I love the changing weather pattern. January, North America warm, Europe cold.
Works for me!

The darned climate has been changing since the last ice age. Heck, it even changed a bit DURING the ice age before it ended. There were even changes in climate BEFORE the last ice age, before it changed into the ice age we are out of now.
And the darned solar output is not as stable as we thought, and the north magnetic pole is shifting around, and precession is making Polaris drift.
Just a hundred fifty years ago many people believed that nothing on Earth ever changed, or changed only infinitesimally with time.
The trick is not to build a civilization that absolutely requires a stable climate and fixed ocean level. To do otherwise would be as silly as building a major city at a river delta, and building levees as the river sinks the city.
"Soon, you'll achieve the stability you strive for, in a place among the fossils of our time..."

I've worn shorts every day this winter. Of course now they're worn out and I need some more. You think Walmart is selling shorts for Valentine's?

Wait a minute, Global Warming will cause a freeze in Europe? Let me see if I understand this- here in STL Global Warming would mean fishing all year round, BBQing all year round, baseball year round, the Lake all year round and Europe freezes?? Where is the downside, Al??
