That's all GREAT to hear. Let's hope and pray it comes to pass as you see it!
From your lips to God's ears.
If she is the nominee, it is NOT good news. If it's a choice between cancer (Blago) and AIDS (Baar-ToPINKa), I'd go with the one that can be cured in 4 years.
When "Rausch" jumped the shark, there left no authentic Conservative in the race for Governor. The current collection of candidates is an embarrassment for the GOP.
There seems to be some confusion between the Republican Party and George [Ryan]'s Odious Party. I refuse to vote for any member of the latter. If JBT wins the primary, I'd vote third-party (probably Randy Shufflebeam) even if I had to do a write-in, in the vain hope that JBT would come in THIRD.
Ping!
Blago's the better looking one.
Yeah, I meant to mention that to you. Not only hae I not seen any of the other GOP primary names, I haven't seen a Blago sign yet.
A Republican is leading in the NJ Senate race, anything can happen!
Steven Rauchenburger is running for the wrong race: Lt Gov.
Given that Judy is the front runner in both the primary and general, I will vote for her in March. If the GOP doesn't win in 2006, we may never be able to win a statewide race in IL for a long time.
Oberweis is running around claiming to be the true "pro-life" candidate. He is a joke.
Would that be THIS Jim Oberweis?
"As for the issues, abortion and gun control divide and define these three Republicans. Cox and Durkin are against abortion, while Oberweis is generally supportive of abortion rights. On guns, Cox is a strict constructionist on the Second Amendment, and he has been appealing to gun owners throughout the state. Durkins House track record earned him a D in 2000 from the Illinois Rifle Association, while Oberweis has a blank slate to fill. Cox is the most conservative of the three, with Durkin and Oberweis competing for the moderate and most moderate label"

Let's face it, Jim Oberweis has only been openly "pro-life" and "really anti-illegal alien" since 2004. Oberweis and his supporters keep insisting he hasn't changed his positions when in fact a quick glance at ANY article on the 2002 campaign will show he supported keeping Roe vs. Wade legal. Can you guys at least be honest about that?
If you guys would like you to prove me wrong and cite an example of Jim Oberweis publically denouncing legal abortion and promoting deporting all illegals PRIOR to 2004, you are welcome to it.
I've been asking Oberweis supporters for weeks to back up their claims about how "pro-life" and "anti-illegal immigration" he is and no one has yet to do it. Anyone can claim to be pro-life to win a GOP primary (George Ryan did exactly that in the 1998 campaign for Governor) This race should be a no brainer. BILL BRADY has a PROVEN 100% pro-gun AND pro-life record his ENTIRE career. Add to that Brady being a proven winner in mutiple elections and Oberweis never holding office and being 0-3 in campaigns, and it's pretty obvious who'd be a better candidate to take out Topinkajevich.
RINO Topinka is beating Blago is the polls (thanks mainly to Dems liking her liberalism more than their own nominee), Gidwitz is tied with Blago, Brady is in a statistical dead heat. Only Oberweis is trailing the unpopular monkey boy, so it's no surprise Blago's people have been pretending to be Republicans and showed up on GOP message boards touting Obie for the nominate.
You want to REALLY send a message to Topinkajevich, get rid of the same old candidates and send in a new guy and proven conservative winner to take 'em out.
