I think the kinder, gentler democrats figured out what Chip Reid is saying right now to Imus: That unless the NSA wiretaps uncover secret information about who's sleeping with who, unless the committee can come up with proof the wiretaps are infringing on someone's privacy, the American people are going to continue supporting the wiretaps. Reid said Americans are going to keep saying: "Please wiretap me, do anything you have to do to keep me safe!"
