"Famous Anus" should retire. He has a future handing out restroom towels in some nightclub..

Someplace in my files I have a photo of the Ark as it was shipped down the Hudson River from where it began in Vermont with indoctrinated school children. If I locate it, I'll post it.
Maurice Strong and Gorbachev have the same philosophy.

We should become familiar with the Earth Charter, as it is the blueprint that has been set out for our future. My daughter received a copy in her political science class. It is intended to indoctrinate schoolchildren and churchgoers. It is passed off as benign interest in the environment. The document gets worse as it goes along. Look at the end for its restrictions on the use of the military. Click on "Read the Earth Charter" and "List of Organizations Endorsing the Earth Charter"

Try putting Mikhail Gorbachev in a Google search with "Earth Charter," "Green Cross," or "United Religions Initiative."
I started studying this a few years ago. Glad you are on board. The fact that your daughter received literature is very disturbing. This needs to be exposed big time. Is your daughter in HS or college? If she's in HS, have you confronted the teacher?
Recall what the UN did in Iraq when they encountered "stress"?
I know many who are familiar with "stress" -
Little creep Kofi was tooling around NYC with a gang of bodyguards illegally armed with HK auto-toys
The UN will push it just a tad more and they will feel "stress" and run for mommy
She received this from her commie college political science professor. Fortunately, she's a right-thinking young woman, and stands up for what she believes in class. Her final paper was on the International Criminal Court, which she criticized in flames. Her research and logic were unassailable, and she received an A, along with a comment from the commie prof that he wished she were on the other side of the issue.
By the way, ever since our church got involved with Purpose Driven Life (Rick Warren), things that sound like the Earth Charter have started creeping into sermons and messages from our Methodist bishop. We've also started receiving offering envelopes for some sketchy sounding stuff. One of the first lessons in the 40 Days of Purpose is to beware of dissenters of the program. Do you know anything about linkage of this program with the Earth Charter or UN lunatics?

I noticed collections for sketchy stuff from the Methodist Church about 40 years ago. Something about the collections taken up for the World Council of Churches didn't seem right, at the time I didn't know why. I kept seeing things that didn't seem right, finally about 20 years ago we walked away from the Methodist Church, now I see many things coming out of the Methodist Church that are definately not Biblical.
I can't directly link Rick Warren or any of his programs to the Earth Charter, or the UN, but I am a big time dissenter, as is my preacher, anyone bringing any of Rick Warren's writings into the Church would be immediately be shown the door.
COmbine this with the Agenda 21 bit and I would be real happy to just do away with the UN altogether.
Counter-UN bump.
Be sure to keep me informed if you find anything more on Warren.
This is a subject on which you are very knowledgable, even about the fact that it is being included in some churches literature without the churches having full knowledge of what the Earth Charter is all about!!
Nitnychik will be the one who knows all about it and I hope she sees your ping. It has been an 'ongoing' effort.
Hi, Smartie! How have you been these days?
Good emoticon: whistling in the dark
The Earth Charter is more insidious than may be obvious at first glance. It is a core document that underpins UN global conferences, so called "global civil society" and NGO's--non-governmental organizations. In our world, this is under the radar, but not in the parallel universe of the left.
Much of the document is vague twaddle, but there are some significant nuggets. My personal favorites (/s):
6b. Place the burden of proof on those who argue that a proposed activity will not cause significant harm, and make the responsible parties liable for environmental harm.
6e. Avoid military activities damaging to the environment.
7e. Ensure universal access to health care that fosters reproductive health and responsible reproduction.
9a. Guarantee the right to potable water...allocating the national and international resources required.
(My note: Ever wonder why the UN wants to get its hands on the fresh water of the Great Lakes?)
10a. Promote the equitable distribution of wealth within nations and among nations. (My note: from our treasury to theirs)
10b. Enhance the intellectual, financial, technical, and social resources of developing nations, and relieve them of onerous international debt.
10d. Require multinational corporations and international financial organizations to act transparently in the public good, and hold them accountable for the consequences of their activities.
16c. Demilitarize national security systems to the level of a non-provacative defense posture, and convert military resources to peaceful purposes, including ecological restoration.
16d. Eliminate nuclear, biological, and toxic weapons and other weapons of mass destruction.
16e. Ensure that the use of orbital and outer space supports environmental protection and peace.
"Sustainability" is the benign sounding trojan horse that will give the globalists the right to decide how many children you can have, how health care should be rationed, who should die, how space and the oceans are to be controlled, how much the U.S. should be "taxed", curtailment of the ownership of private property, etc. The person behind the Earth Charter is Mikhail Gorbachev, working to defeat us by other means, and headquartered on our own soil at the Presidio in San Francisco. This isn't going away. We need to understand the plan, in order to fight the incremental steps along the way. Let's start with opposing the Law of the Sea Treaty.
I sell furniture to schools and it seems that most here in California are demanding 'green design' and sustainability in the materials and workmanship... or you can't even bid. Unfortunately for them most manufacturers are not willing to invest in the research/equipment etc... involved in working with new materials and finishes. AND... the client is not willing to pay the increased price! Seems we are at an impasse. Of course there are those manufacturers who are willing to prevaricate (lie) to make the client feel better.
I am not one of them... guess I won't be selling this market much longer.... : (
That's an interesting story. I never thought of school furniture as being harmful to the environment. Aren't trees a renewable resource? The tentacles of this movement are so numerous, it's hard to know where to begin to keep track of it.
