Where's the "Onion" logo?
OcTOBER?!?!?
WTF?!? Start NOW! Helllooooo? Secretary Chertoff?!?! Anybody on duty there?!? Helloooooo?
Stop releasing them NOW!
I want to know why they are waiting until the new fiscal year (for the government) to do that?
That makes absolutely NO sense.
Too unbelieveable?
October...I wonder if but what this is allowing "them" more time to build more tunnels. Let's see, this is February, they have until October, that means...six, seven months to "make other plans."
I agree with others here, this "plan" seems obtuse at best.
Well, if you read the same article I did: "A lack of detention bed space has forced the department to release . . ." Same thing goes with the local jails - I think one is under federal court order to avoid overcrowding. We are making progress, slowly but surely.
To allow more illegals into the country, of course. Bush will be happy.
October? Of this year?
Actually, October is right before the mid-term election too.
interesting....
I just find it odd that they are waiting until the 2007 fiscal year.
I don't blame Bush for it though. That decision was made by a flunky, unless the way they do business at that level has changed in the past I don't know, 6 or 7 hours....
OKAY....who wants to provide room and board for illegals, in your home - OR - pay for their ticket home?....hold up your hands now.....
I don't think that has much to do with it.
October? Just in time for some who are running for office to claim something is being done. I suspect they'll quit and release those detained my mid November.
A good first step. Rome wasn't built in a day.
Put them and the other criminals up in tents.
If true, I'm glad they're changing the stupid policy...even if it's a little latter than what I would like...which is now.
As long as it is Constitutional.
Hell, by October, Mexico could be empty!
