Given Kennedy's family was sympathetic to the enemies in WWII....
And Kennedy encouraged the terrorists to stop the elections....
of course the elected representative for Al-Quida in the U.S. wants to help them in their mission. Though, note, Kennedy says this at a televised hearing rather then sending notice through other serious channels.
Demonstrates his interest isn't in stopping the program, or he'd have suggested ending it weeks ago. Demonstrates that he doesn't even believe it's illegal, or he'd have fought to end it soon of learning of it. It simply illustrates he views it as a political tool. Transparency of motives on display.

The FISA program? He really said that? I guess if the good people of Massachusettes will put up with that then they would surely open their doors as a safe haven for terrorists around the world. How else could you read that?
