Good Monday morning, once again, fellow political jinkies. The NFL season may be over, but the political season inside the Beltway is 24/7/365. So join us, if you can, as those wacky Dems on the Senate Judiciary committee reprise their pitiful efforts to once again smear President Bush and score political points..
The Dems live in Disneyland. And it's not the one Walt planned.
He thinks it should all be controlled by Congress.
Yo Specter, you cannot change the Constitution.
That says it all, they are all dirty rats even though Bloomberg is a former rat, he is still a rat, and the taxpayers foot the bill for the incestuous relationships in NY City Government. I can still see the pictures of the poor woman that lost both her legs and the others that were so badly maimed in this travesty.
I think Specter is really getting down to the Constitutional issues.....can Congress dictate to the CIC how he is to monitor the enemy,,,,
Specter just threw the President under the bus.
I was asking about Schumer's wife; I had never heard that.
Is it possible to get a replacemant for Graham next time he's up?
I CAN'T STAND HIM!!!
I thought he was one stand-up guy when he was in the House...
And I'm not just talking about the dims.
If Jackson meant "null and void" by using the phrase "lowest ebb", why wasn't it stated that way?
"Senators".......R's and D's alike?
What has made you think they are being spied on.
SPECTER IS THROWING A HISSY FIT...
He said that they never MEANT for Bush to be able to wiretap during their permission to go to war?????
WHOA...Specter just drew a major line in the sand.
Yeppers - old news.
No, I don't think they are, I think they are acting like they are worried that they are.
Looks to me like a power struggle. Congress wants to have more powers than the President.
Soooooooo a Senator did leak it huh???
$10 says it was Rockefeller
All this hot air is about jealousy. Many of these senators think they should be the President as they are the smartest human being in the world. As I listen, most of what I hear is, if only
Specter is having a fit, but I think it shows his pettiness, and the fact that the President and the AG are on firm ground.
MEG, I'm furious with Specter....and, it's not just this instance. For all the support the President gave him during his last reelection effort...seems Specter often is somewhat at odds with the President's postitions.
I called Specter's office several times this morning....always busy. He can be reached thru US Capitol toll free number...1-877-762-8762.
I did reach offices of Frist, Brownback, Graham and Sessions.
