Posted on 02/06/2006 6:08:53 AM PST by ken5050
Good Monday morning, once again, fellow political jinkies. The NFL season may be over, but the political season inside the Beltway is 24/7/365. So join us, if you can, as those wacky Dems on the Senate Judiciary committee reprise their pitiful efforts to once again smear President Bush and score political points..

Of course they will. That's why they can't be allowed to win back the house. Not now, not ever.

Graham asks "Is FISA an unconstitutional intrusion on the President's inherent power?"
Gonzales' answer was that, if so, the determination of the constitutionality of any given surveillance becomes more difficult. Duh. That's the nub of the hearing.
To: Txsleuth
I can't stand Graham either, txsleuth. He's so wishy washy that he's useless.

"what is it with this TORTURE and Graham??? "
I didn't think torture was supposed to be the focus of these hearings.

if they win congress back in 2006, they will bring impeachment proceedings against Bush. Will that fear be enough to bring out all of the Conservatives that are unhappy with aspects of the Bush administration....that is the question!!!
To: Purrcival
I heard Carter blandly tell Larry King that "We won the 2000 election."

Graham must be wearing his (D) Underroos today.

I think Graham finally got the answer he wanted. Not fair to troops who are not lawyers.
