Good Monday morning, once again, fellow political jinkies. The NFL season may be over, but the political season inside the Beltway is 24/7/365. So join us, if you can, as those wacky Dems on the Senate Judiciary committee reprise their pitiful efforts to once again smear President Bush and score political points..

What they're claiming is that we have no proof that the administration didn't. The guy asked if they had the administration didn't answer.

Brownback: We're working off a war declaration on use of military force and I think we'll be working on the WOT for decades, like the Cold War.
I share DeWine's concern we should look at FISA law.
No. No. No.
Every single time Congress tries to fix something, they mess it up.

LOL ! I really nervous about ordering my pizza tonight! If I order one 1/2 pepperoni, will the administration think it was a coded message? ;-)

If they listened to my phone calls today it would just be: "I'm on FR and listening to testimony. Gotta go. Call you later. Click" I'm not even answering the phone ... and my 5yr old keeps telling me the phone is ringing *L*

"maybe its a setup, they used call forwarding from a call overseas back into the US."
Bush just said in a recent speech that new technology has been useful in that regard.

Durbin named a man Richard Fleischer (?) who wrote to NSA because he's spoken to people overseas and is concerned if they listened to his phone calls. Couldn't get an answer from NSA.
Durbin tried to make the guy a victim; you know - an Oprah moment. America is seemingly in love with victims. Gag

This thread has been moving pretty fast!
I am right here and I am having trouble keeping up!
Brownback isn't really up to speed,...seems to me.
Wants to look at the FISA law which Durbin is saying is the EXCLUSIVE LAW which is totally wrong!!!

Maybe you should hire a private attorney

Why is Mr. Gleischer worried? Could he have been saying things he is now worried about?
Seriously, either he is some paranoid loon, or a tool of the left.

Mr. P is preparing the taxes today for the tax preparer so when I've asked him to answer the phone, I've heard a little snarl in his voice. Decided it was more wise to just answer it myself :-)

Thanks for that summary, I'm so glad to hear it. I can only see the cspan broadcast, can't get sound (am at work). The AG LOOKS unperturbed and unflappable, but it's kind of hard to tell how it's really going.
God knows, I hope he makes Rocky the yellowbelly traitor poop his pants in fright.
