I remember reading a book, short story, actually, some years ago - about war in Russia.
Very confusing at first, you could not figure out what the time frame was or who the enemy was. Then the author started dropping hints - UN insignia, German units retreating with Russian units. You are trying to figure out who the bad guy is. The enemy was the Chinese horde - and there was absolutely no stopping them. Very chilling story.
At this rate, this cartoon blowup and the nutcase in Iran, it will not be long before it's the civilized world vs. this sick culture. They don't deserve to be called a religion - they are at the opposite end.
Now the thoughts turn to the rag-head horde, and you are right - it will not be pretty.

The fake socialist countries in Northern Europe are learning the hard way to respect the opressed but revolutionary people in the Islamic world. If their leaders have any common sense, they must take steps to regain the confidence of the Islamic people. Just an apology (already offered) and punishing those responsible for the cartoons is not enough. A strong and clear message is needed. A total boycott of the zionist entity and action against it in international forums would be the best way to mend fences with the revolutionary forces. Let us hope that the leaders of Denmark, Norway and Sweden have the courage and vision it takes. A part of these leaders have already shown a progressive attitude in recent years, they should now gain the upper hand.
Oh, now they're really getting me mad. I have that feeling coming on -- must jump up and down and burn a couple of flags.

The islamofanatics have failed to even appreciate that cartoons (political or otherwise) are only effective when there is an underyling level of truth butressing them. An Anne Frank/Hitler cartoon shows they are so out of touch, they cannot even construct a "catoon".
