Barrett Report Could Harm Hillary
CFIF.org ^ | Feb. 2006 | Jeff Mazzella

Did you know a Commission report exists that exposes ugly, festering Democrat corruption at the highest levels of government?

Did you know that this report might ruin Hillary Clinton’s chances to run for president and even jeopardize her reelection campaign?

Did you know that Democratic Senators Byron Dorgan, Carl Levin, Dick Durbin, John Kerry and Congressman Henry Waxman, with the help of Democratic judges, suppressed key portions of this report?

Did you know that the suppressed sections reveal some of the most obscene abuses of power in the history of the presidency?

If you’ve never heard of the Barrett Commission Report, I’m not surprised. The liberal news media continues to refuse to give the story the coverage it deserves. They don’t want you to know that this unexploded bombshell exists.

Here are the facts:

On May 24, 1995, David Barrett was appointed to head a commission investigating President Clinton’s Housing Secretary Henry Cisneros, who was accused of paying hush-money to his ex-mistress, committing tax fraud, and lying to the FBI.

During the course of his investigation, Mr. Barrett uncovered a scandal that dwarfed the Cisneros fiasco – the Clinton Administration’s use of the IRS and the Justice Department to bully, intimidate, and silence political enemies.

For the next several years, Mr. Barrett and his team – initially alerted to the abuse of power by a whistle blower at the IRS – widened their investigation to include the IRS (headed by Hillary Clinton’s old college chum, Margaret Milner Richardson), the Justice Department (headed by Clinton crony Janet Reno), and the White House itself (headed by co-presidents Bill and Hillary).

The Barrett Report discusses in detail the cases of people whom the IRS and the Justice Department persecuted on orders from the White House. These included women who had accused President Clinton of sexual misconduct and even rape: e.g., Paula Jones, Juanita Broderick, and Gennifer Flowers. All three were targeted for audit by the Clinton-controlled IRS.

Use the hyperlink below to send your urgent and personalized Blast Fax messages to Senator Charles Grassley, Congressman James Sensenbrenner and the Republican leadership in the Senate and House. Demand that they support Grassley and Sensenbrenner in their efforts to make the entire Barrett Report public. Tell them the American people demand to have this crucial information. Tell them that conservatives need to play hardball like the liberals.

You know, the democrats are not only fearing the Barrett Report, but they are still looking down the barrell of the "Able Danger" investigation. If our politicians do their jobs, the democrats are going to need helmets. How sweet it could be.

I hope Karl Rove is behind the scenes orchestrating when to drop the mother load on them.< /dreaming>

You will not accomplish a thing with this simply due to the fact that George W. Bush will not allow anything to negatively affect his fathers' best friends' significant other.

Bill Clinton has adroitly used this "friendship" to help shine his tarnished image. With virtually no significant accomplishments during his scandal ridden presidency, he will do anything to achieve a veneer of respectability.

WHY ON EARTH COULD THERE BE *ANY* JUSTIFICATION FOR SUPPRESSING ANY PART OF A REPORT?????

Let's try this again..."WHY ON EARTH C(W)OULD THERE BE *ANY* JUSTIFICATION FOR SUPPRESSING ANY PART OF A (taxpayer funded) REPORT?????
There is no justification, but for our reps to dutifully report to their "bosses" their "privates must be acclimated to a higher temperature"

I think this is the root of all their "Culture of Corruption" attacks against the Republicans. It is a strategy they have used over and over again. When in danger of being exposed, accuse the accuser of the same or worse.

As I understand it, any Congressman has the right to view and release the unredacted report. I've called and requested the release. It should be a firestorm.

I admire your optimism....

Personally I have very, very little faith in any Congresscritter doing the "right thing"....And I expect what we have received in the past...party posturing, "committee's", "serious" investigations, more posturing, ad nauseum.

IOW, color me extremely doubtful. In "real life" I'm a pretty optimistic person....but when it comes to Washington D.C. and politicians in general...I'm caring less, more and more.

Everyone be patient. The report is going to be released...it's just that the wheels of justice proceed at a slow pace...somtime after labor day and just before the November elections.

I'll bet you a big basket of pecans....that even IF..the full report comes out..nothing will come of it.

The fix is in.....Same as it ever was....Same as it ever was....Same as it ever was....Same as it ever was....Same as it ever was....

Dear Abby,

My husband is a liar and a cheat. He has cheated on me from the beginning, and when I confront him, he denies everything.

What's worse, everyone knows he cheats on me. It is so humiliating.

Also, since he lost his job four years ago, he hasn't even looked for a new one. All he does is buy cigars and cruise around and bullshit with his pals, while I have to work to pay the bills.

Since our daughter went away to college, he doesn't even pretend to like me and hints that I am a lesbian.

What should I do?

Signed, Clueless

Dear Clueless:

Grow up and dump him. For Pete's sake, you don't need him anymore.

You're a United States senator from New York....Act like it!!!!

The problem is that "citizens and constituents" are often ignorant of the facts, misinformed, and/or apathetic to the circumstances thanks to the MSM. How many "citizens" do you suppose know that have heard ABOUT the Barrett Report? How many "citizens" do you suppose have heard about it, are aware of its scope? How many "citizens" do you suppose have heard about it, know about its scope, and realize its implications? How many "citizens" are going to actively write their congresscritters to request a taxpayer paid-for FULL report?

I read them...Where did I denigrate anyone?

“As we continue digging into the details of the report, I'll know just how significant the redactions are and will be able to determine how to proceed in the upcoming months."

Months!! May as well said years...we the sheeple people ain't seeing all the redactions...Ain't gonna happen. LOL!!

Stonewalled......once again.

How did I "denigrate" everyone else?

I understood what you were saying...........

Sometimes when you are taking flak...you are probably over the target.

While I share your concerns, we only need one to release the report. A nartional focus upon one ambitious Congressman with a history of independence is all it would take. Tom Tancredo and Ron Paul come to mind.

I thought there was an agreement that permitted Congresscritters to read the report and then discuss publicly what they'd read? If that is true, I'm disappointed that NONE of them have done so yet.

I think you are exactly right. The democrats are trying to set up a moral equivalency. But, it looks like the Libby thing is falling apart, as will the phony Delay charges.

A nartional focus upon one independent, ambitious, or principled Congresscritter is all it would take to get this report released. Tom Tancredo, Jim Inhofe, and Ron Paul immediately come to mind.

Methinks such a coordinated and targeted national effort is precisely what this site is most aptly suited to deliver successfully.

I suppose there's hope........

But I'm not betting Grandma's farm.......

I really dislike sounding like a pessimistic naysayer...but even IF...the FULL report comes out...I predict it will be tractionless. If the Pubbies know anything it's this....or they fear it enough to not give the effort.

Very few of the R's have what it takes to "live" by the sword...because they know they are likely to "die" by it. Thus it will be "Silence of the Elephants".....once again.

Ron Paul has shown very little sign of worrying about that, nor has Tancredo. Both are re-elected by huge margins.

It's up to us. To declare defeat without an effort is to empower the wicked. I suggest you hide your ammunition. With a strategy like that, you're gonna need it.

The judge left the door wide open for ANY congresscritter to go in and get the report and have it published. With 534 other members of congress, why hasn't this been done already?

One reason could be to wait until JUST BEFORE the 2006 midterm elections...
