I'm sorry, should have been more specific. The "cartoon jihad" and the whole furor involved - on both sides. Don't get me wrong- these people have thin skin and are just behaving very sillily, like little children who have been called a name and who don't know how to respond to name calling like adults.
My prefered response, from all nations, would be to recognize their actions as those of little children and admonish them accordingly - pointing out to them where and how they have gone wrong. Beginning with their mis-interpretation, in a literal way, of the Koran.
This would, of course, require that a correct "psychological" (as opposed to literal) interpretation of the Koran be known and understood by those who can speak directly to these children, setting them upon the correct path.
Ergo I'm not optimistic, but I'm not going to get emotional over something that's out of my direct control. That's all I meant.
I hope you change your mind when things get really hot. But by then it may be too late.
Damned little is in one's direct control. But you can write letters to the politicians who are falling for this multicultural crap and you can vote. That's enough... for now.
