Way to go ANB!!
Did you realize that you may be the first "Three FReep" FReeper. Friday night you were at WR, Saturday morning you were at the WH, and Saturday afternoon you were at Olney. And two out of three of those were in the rain. (I discount myself because as the organizer of the Olney FReep, I had to be there).
Of course super major kudos to those FReepers, Protest Warriors and GW students who stayed at the WH, again in the rain. While we were driving north to Olney in a DRY car, you all were stuck in the rain. You all also were out FReeping as long as we were in Olney. So actually you all may have been at the LONGEST FReep, from roughly 11 AM til 4+ PM.
Good thing all FReeps were done when that band of rain rolled through the D.C. area around 8 PM.

She's smiling because she knows that she's just a couple of years away from a Senate seat in Massachusetts!

I don't consider $20 jeans, $150.00 boots, a $30 hooded Protest Warrior sweatshirt and a $200.00 leather jacket
RAGS..
and I can walk into Fran O'Briens, or the Sunset Grill, or Buffalo Billiards, and feel perfectly at home, and in some cases, OVERDRESSED...and I will continue to dress "appropriately", given the occasion and the weather.

Those protesters and their signs look no different from the barbaric Islamic crazies that 'protested' in Europe and rioted in Beirut.

Thanks for the great explanation of why we are out on the streets. And Thank God for the Internet and Talk Radio and other alternative methods of getting the TRUTH out over the MSM bias.
NEVER AGAIN, NEVER AGAIN, NEVER AGAIN!

OK, one minor correction and clarification..
I AM a Viet Nam ERA vet,
I am NOT a Viet Nam COMBAT vet..
I was Second of the 2, and caught a break, unlike some of my friends, who did not.
I will NEVER, EVER, allow the things that happened to my friends during VN, happen to the heroes who came after us, especially the brave wounded returning from OIF and OEF.
Tonk, thank you Sir, and Welcome Home. I'm glad you're here.

About 1,000 people gathered in rain-swept Washington, D.C. today at an anti-Bush rally organized by the World Can't Wait, a front group for the Revolutionary Communist Party. The definition of "misdirected hatred".
The World Can't Wait?
For what?
A world lacking world freedom?
This is one hell of a directive to promote with the mindset that GWB is in opposition to such a directive.
We have a long row to hoe in the near future....

We are all Brothers, there is no difference,
we all served and all took the same chance
of luck of the draw.
We all were subject to the radical left of the 60's and 70's
Just ask hanoi kerry and hanoi jane et all
We're all just criminals
Welcome Home Brother and Thank YOU for standing up in DC!

And what would you suggest to wear during 3 hours in the winter cold, Oh Self-righteous Ruler of the Fashion Police?
Geesh, you are clueless. You may see some congratulatory celebrating going on HERE but you have NO FLIPPIN IDEA what goes on THERE. Your reading comprehension skills are on a second grade level if that's all you can glean from the after-action threads. You can be an armchair jockey for the rest of your life, for all I care. Since you obviously think clothes are more important than actions, keep the dirt and reality of the real world off your precious duds and let the big kids handle the heavy lifting.

How many thousands (or was it millions) of lives were lost in Viet Nam, because the only faces seen on the evening news, night after night, were those protesting against our Nation and our troops? How many real Americans sat in their livingrooms, doing nothing, because they believed the big lie that they were in the minority, and it was pointless (and even dangerous) to speak out? How many people did you see displaying patriotic symbols back then? Why didn't they display them? If there had been demonstrations supporting our troops, care packages for our troops, and patriotic symbols on display everywhere, how different things may have been.
Jla, what are you doing to help? If you have a better plan (or any plan at all), I'm sure everybody would love to hear it.
Kristinn, thank you for all that you do. Thanks to all of you, who stand out in all kinds of weather, doing the work we should all be doing. And thank you for getting the word out.

Maybe you should keep your opinions to yourself. We will NOT be silent against the mind-numbed robots of the left. We did that for years, and the anti-America crowd grew more bold. If you don't believe in the cause the DC Freepers (and others) work so hard for, fine. Maybe you'd be more comfortable on DU.
