LOS ANGELES, CA (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Judge Paul Gutman of the Superior Court on Los Angeles directed that Anant Tripati must now post a $50,000 bond if Tripati wishes to continue to litigate "Fraud Upon the Court," reversing his initial decision not to require the bond at the inception of the suit and subsequent to Tripati obtaining trial depositions from current and former employees Lt. Belen Jeske and Richard Goldston of the LA County District Attorney's Office admitting to committing fraud upon the court and that this is a common practice, according to Tripati (BC343351).
During deposition on October 19, 2005, former LA District Attorney's Office employee Richard Goldston admitted that no employee of the LA District Attorney's Office was present nor knows what property was seized by Arizona authorities that he allowed to search Mr. Tripati's office in his absence. Goldston also admitted to then submitting false and fraudulent statements to Judge Candace Beason pertaining to the search warrant and property seized (SW 34227), states Tripati.
"Judge Paul Gutman resents the fact that I have been able, after almost fourteen years, to obtain sworn statements in deposition revealing the District Attorney's Office has no idea what property was taken from my office, and that I also proved through employee testimony that the LA County District Attorney's Office has a cozy system of routinely submitting false information to Los Angeles County Superior Court judges to obtain warrants and pertaining to property seizure. Judge Gutman was also upset that in deposition testimony of current employee Lt. Belen Jeske I provided uncontroverted evidence by her own admission that the lawyers for LA, Amber Logan, Fateema Johnson, Jennifer Petrusis, and Henry Patrick Nelson of "Nelson & Fulton," had Lt. Belen Jeske execute blank verification documents in this case. Judge Gutman also ignored Lt. Belen Jeske being blatantly coached by her lawyer during deposition. Judge Gutman has now cancelled the deposition of two AZ officers that would further support my case against LA County. Instead of holding a proper hearing on the matter, Judge Gutman ordered me to post a $50,000 bond with the court in an effort to suppress this important case for reasons that are absurd. I am being punished for obtaining evidence proving my case against LA County," states Tripati vehemently.
"Lawyers I spoke with, familiar with the case and Judge Paul Gutman, believe the judge's decision is in error. They contend the judge ordered Tripati to post the bond in an effort to avoid the DA's Office equivalent of another Rampart scandal. These lawyers believe the court should re-examine what it has done in this case because the deposition testimony is so damaging and revealing," continues Tripati.
Tripati is arranging for the posting of the documents from this case on a website - www.frauduponCAcourts.com - within the next 30 days.
On March 27th, 2006, Judge Paul Gutman has set a hearing at 8:30 AM to decide fraud upon the court in BC 326528 and Tripati believes Gutman will refuse to examine the issue.
