Yikes. If there really are 162 suspected cases this sounds like the jump has been made.
If even half of the cases are H5N1, it will be a major shift, but I don't know if it would quite be a pandemic form yet. This would take us to late stage 4 or early stage 5, possibly.
Hopefully, this is just like in Turkey, where almost 1,000 people went to hospitals "just to be sure" they didn't have avian influenza.
Sure sounds like it. I guess time will tell. Certainly is a cause for concern.
