It's painting, sculpture, etc. of anything that you can easily recognize - as opposed to abstract art.
So it's "art" LOL
Thanks for the explanation...no really, I'm serious. I didn't have a clue, I've never heard of a landscape painting, a portrait, or even a painting of a bowl of fruit on a table being called "representational art".
